    From winter whiteouts to spring's final chutes, Patagonia's Backcountry Guides keep up with every summit push and ski descent. The rugged 4-way-stretch polyester (100% recycled)/spandex double weave resists weather and breathes freely, while the all-recycled polyester ripstop with H2No waterproof/breathable barrier in the seat and knee panels provide extra protection. A brushed interior and microfleece-lined waistband add comfort, and zippered, mesh-lined thigh vents keep you cool on uphill grinds. Other details include removable 3-point suspenders; a zippered fly; gusseted, zippered cuffs with 2-position snaps, edge guards and internal mini-gaiters. With water-resistant zippered pockets: two front, one vertical thigh.
